SEG ENLISTMENT SURVIVAL GUIDE

BLUEPRINT: INNOVATING THE PHILIPPINES OF TOMORROW
(June 2017)
An innovation case competition solving real problems, and partnered with the Philippine government to empower each Lasallian in using their skills and knowledge for the country.

SHIFT
(term long)
Through established partnerships with COSCA and SOE admin, a team of researchers will be mentored in conducting a study in a community, where they can engage in capacity building and producing output that would suggest solutions to problems identified within the community.

In spreading awareness regarding the state of our environment, EXCEL2016, in partnership with DLSU ECO and STCG, will hold an event wherein students will engage in a tree planting activity that will be held in the DLSU STC campus.

INTERNSHIP AGENT AND FEEDBACK SYSTEM

In an effort to provide students with more opportunities than those within the university, EXCEL2016, in partnership with EXCEL2017, will implement a publicity drive highlighting Internship Opportunities outside of the curriculum found in SOE Website and also aims to supplement and provide feedback for the Internship Agent.

STUDENT-LED EVALUATION SYSTEM

In ensuring that the students are properly represented, EXCEL2016, in partnership with EXCEL2017, will create an evaluation system that will supplement the current MLS system to receive feedback consistently regarding SOE professors which would help back-up grievance cases.

MENTAL HEALTH

This is a seminar from the creators of the HOPE Hotline as to how we can deal with mental illnesses and challenge the ongoing stigma. In collaboration with Natasha Goulbourn Foundation (NGF).

GENDER EQUALITY

This movement allows members of the DLSU community to speak out regarding gender stereotyping with the aim of changing preconceived notions on gender roles and other forms of gender stereotyping.

INSTITUTIONAL COLLABORATION

Building linkages with various government institutions, including local government units, and non-governmental organizations to make students involved nation-building and policy making towards the development of the social welfare.

SUBSIDIZED PRINTING

Provide convenient and accessible subsidized printing services by establishing a satellite office for SCOOP.

UPPERCLASSMEN INTERACTION DAY

A day where EXCEL2019 get to interact with SOE students of EXCEL2018, 2017, and 2016 and other willing alumnus in a fun day of activities, building relationships between the different generations of current and future Lasallian economists.


ECOLLABORATE
(March 2017)
An interaction between teams within the batch and different small businesses and non-profit organizations in the hopes of identifying the dilemmas faced by the small businesses and/or small communities and help solve them in order to improve the lives of the people.
FROSH MANUAL

An electronic manual containing the basic information on where the students could find their basic needs in the university and basic descriptions an SOE student will need in their college life.

EXCEL2019 SOS - DIGITAL HELPDESK

A "Siri" concept unique to cater to the needs of each student in EXCEL2019, ready to address whatever concern in academics, extra-curricular activities and university offices which will utilize social media accounts in Facebook, Twitter and ask.fm. EXCEL2019’s all around buddy is named John.
